Your initial consultation will involve discussion concerning your activity levels and any nutritional issues you feel you have. You will then be asked to go away and keep a three-day food diary, which will be analysed. This analysis will include a detailed description of exactly what you are eating, down to the smallest vitamin and mineral. The second consultation will involve feedback from the food diary and an improved and sustainable nutritional plan will be provided.
Sports nutrition has in recent years become a billion pound industry with new products being released on a daily basis claiming to be the next ‘super supplement’. For this reason it is becoming increasingly difficult to know which supplement is best to take.
