David BSc (Hons) GSR

David has been a keen athlete and rugby league player for over 20 years now, with representative honors at county, national and international level.


Alongside Core David has worked with Super League club Salford Red Devils as a Sports Rehabilitator, providing him with a vast amount of experience in his field. David has also had spells with Warrington Wolves and Southampton Football Club.


David is an extremely motivated and dedicated trainer, which can be seen with his personal sporting and professional achievements. Such traits are valuable assets in any trainer and when combined with David’s qualifications, ensure his clients gain the most from their sessions obtaining the best results available.


David can recall on a wide variety of exercise techniques, structures and methods to ensure programs are functional, effective and fun yet challenging for his clients.


David can also call on a wide variety of treatment and rehabilitation modalities including manual therapy techniques, functional rehabilitation techniques, biomechanical assessment, fitness and injury prevention strategies, ultrasound therapy, core control and stability, injury strapping and taping, client profiling and massage techniques.

My work with the University and Salford Reds has allowed me to gain experience across a number of different sports fulfilling a number of different roles. I have gained experience and become proficient in using numerous pieces of equipment, such as GPS systems, force plates and isokinetic dynamometers.

Dom BSc (Hons)

Over the last 15 years of strength and performance coaching Dom has trained athletes from a wide range of sports a from powerlifting and judo to roller derby and football, at various levels from ammeter to international competition.


I believe in taking a holistic approach to tailoring training and nutrition for each client at a commitment they’re comfortable with and that fits with their lifestyle, improving overall health and wellbeing. I will provide structured programming using measurable outcomes to ensure your goals are met.”


Dom is a highly qualified and respected strength and performance coach, former mixed martial artist and strongman competitor.  He received his Bachelors degree in Applied Sports Science from the University of Salford and went on to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He has since gained qualifications in functional performance and various soft tissue therapies which allow him to coach athletes returning from injury as well as those looking to improve performance.
